Our Pilates Studio in Ada, MI
PILATES IS MORE THAN A WORKOUT
Everyone Starts Somewhere
You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to be strong. And you definitely don’t need to know what a Reformer is before you walk through the door.
Pilates is a practice you learn. And at RISE, we’re here to help guide you through the process.
Whether this is your very first Pilates class or simply your first time at RISE, we’ll help you get comfortable with the equipment, understand the fundamentals and find the right place to start.
At Rise, we believe strength changes more than your body.
At Rise, we believe strength changes more than your body.
Our small-group classes and private sessions combine expert instruction, intentional movement and genuine connection so you leave feeling stronger, more capable and more confident than when you walked in.

PURPOSEFUL MOVEMENT
Thoughtful instruction. No mindless reps.
Every movement has a reason. Our instructors pair a deep understanding of Pilates with thoughtful cueing and attention to how you move, helping you build strength, control and a better connection to your body.
PERSONAL ATTENTION
Small classes where instructors know your name.
You’re not just another spot on a Reformer. Smaller classes give our instructors the space to notice, guide and get to know you and your goals, your practice and where you’re headed.
STRONGER TOGETHER
A welcoming community built around showing up for yourself and each other.
We believe lasting change happens when you feel supported enough to keep showing up. RISE is a place to move, grow and celebrate progress alongside people who are doing the same.
Nobody rises alone.
There will be days you walk into the studio ready to work and days when simply showing up feels like the work.
We believe there’s room for all of it.
RISE was built to be a place where progress matters more than perfection. Where you can start something new, come back after time away, challenge yourself, slow things down or simply take an hour that’s yours.
Because strength looks different in different seasons. What matters is continuing to move forward and knowing you have people beside you while you do.

Not at all. Pilates is designed to meet you where you are and grow with you. Your instructor can offer guidance and modifications along the way so you can build strength, mobility and confidence at your own pace.
-
Consistency matters more than perfection. Many clients find that two to three sessions per week allows them to build strength and progress their practice, while once a week can be a great place to start or complement other movement.
-
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are required for safety and cleanliness; bring your own or purchase a pair at the studio.
-
Just yourself and your grip socks! We provide the equipment you’ll need for your Pilates practice.
-
Group classes offer expert instruction in a small, supportive class environment. Semi-private sessions provide more individualized attention for two people, while private sessions are completely tailored to your body, experience and goals.
-
Private and semi-private sessions are scheduled directly with our team so we can learn a little about what you’re looking for and help match you with the right instructor. Contact us at info@risepilatesinada.com to get started.
-
Start by reaching out to us before booking. We’ll talk with you about your needs and help determine the most appropriate place to begin. Depending on your circumstances, we may recommend starting with private instruction so your instructor can provide more individualized attention.
-
Life happens, we get it. Group Reformer classes may be canceled or rescheduled up to 8 hours before class without losing the class credit. Private and semi-private sessions require 24 hours’ notice; late cancellations are charged the full session fee.

MEET JOSEPH PILATES.
Pilates takes its name from its creator, a boxer named Joseph Pilates. He developed the method in the early 20th century and originally called the practice '“contrology.”
His approach centered on the idea that purposeful, controlled movement could build a stronger, more balanced body. He developed a system of exercises as well as specialized equipment designed to use resistance and support to help people move with greater precision and control.
After Joseph and his wife, Clara, opened a studio in New York City, the method developed a devoted following (particularly among dancers) and continued to evolve into the Pilates practiced around the world today.
At RISE, we build on those foundations with an approach designed for today's bodies and everyday movement.
